Basework for Grass

Design of the base is a

correlation of the loads

to be carried and

prevailing ground

conditions. The base

will typically consist

of 150mm (10 in) thick layer of well compacted crushed stone followed by 80-100mm (3-4 in.) layer of rootzone upon which the Golpla® is laid, loose filled with either rootzone or clean friable top soil and

seeded.

Brief description:
A ready planted grass protection grid allowing almost immediate use of the surface.
Comparable to laying rolls of turf, a hardwearing landscaping lawn pre-cultivated in the honeycomb structure and provided with all nutrients.
The surface can be used within a week of installation.
