The FABEKUN^® saddle has been further developed and its functions once again distinctly improved. This moulded component has proved itself very well in practice and its benefits are convincing. Easy to handle, it is suitable for all popular pipe diameters (DN/OD 250 - DN/OD 1200, with a DN/OD 160 connection and DN/OD 400 - DN/OD 2400 with a DN/OD 200 connection) and makes a permanent sealed joint between the domestic connection and the main pipe. Planners, local authorities and building contractors now have the possibility to make long-lasting sealed house connections directly on the spot, quickly and cost effectively.


The new modified FABEKUN^® saddle with integral DN/OD 160 ball joint is a further innovative development.
Can swivel from 0°- 13°.

It combines the functions of the FABEKUN^® saddle with those of the FABEKUN^® ball joint in a single moulded unit. With the three-dimensional seal, which is also new, it fits the inside radius of the mains pipe perfectly. The integral ball joint allows the connected pipe to be angled within a range from 0 ∞ - 13 ∞ and compensates for the different settling characteristics of the various types of pipe.

Hint on installation with integral ball:

The design benefit of the integral ball joint can be used to make a change in direction of up to 5∞ in the house connection pipe. The remaining 8∞ are intended as a reserve to compensate for the different settling characteristics of the pipes, in order to maintain a flexible connection in the long term.

Due to its design the saddle piece offers the operators of sewer networks a whole range of benefits thanks to its simple and fast installation, immediate readiness for use and many connection possibilities. Connecting into the sewer is clean and trouble free. The specially shaped three-dimensional new design of the bottom sealing area matches the saddle perfectly to the inside radius of the pipe.

The FABEKUN^® saddle with ball joint can be used for concrete pipes to DIN 4032 and ferroconcrete pipes to DIN 4035.

Using the injected two-part resin, the saddle is firmly anchored into the drilled hole in the concrete pipes and the exposed reinforcement in the curvature of ferro-concrete pipes is protected so that no corrosion can occur. This has been proven by a range of tests at the Federal Institute for Material Research and Testing, Berlin (BAM) and confirmed by the Institute for Building Technology, Berlin (Certificate No.: Z-42.1-306)
