Provide the excavated trench with engineered specified fill, dependent on predetermined soil conditions. |  | |
Now install D-Raintank®. If necessary, these can be connected with proprietary clips. |  | |
Carefully wrap D-Raintank® with geotextile, taking care to overlap the material by at least 300mm. |  | |
First place the ballast material onto the tanks to eliminate lateral movement during back filling |  | |
Then fill the side areas in layers. |  | |
Compacting at the side of D-Raintank® is essential. Again, compaction is to be done in layers. |  | |
For compacting above D-Raintank®, a plate temper is recommended. Compacting
with "trains of rollers" is not permissible! |  | |
